She loaded easy, she stood on the trailer for part of the day, she tied at the trailer for the rest. She ground tied by the end of the day with Kaitlyn working with her and only screamed out for her pony friend ( who was also competing) for 3/4 of the day. She really wants to be a show pony and was excited to be there and though she was pretty interested in all the happenings she didn't lose her mind and really enjoyed herself out on her first show adventure She did a great dressage test with a score of 31.9 and jumped clear on the show jumping round. Wardaca Horse Trials

[caption id="attachment_1492" align="alignleft" width="200"] Heading out to the X country course[/caption] I went to the horse trials at Wardaca. These are rated trails and it was a lot of fun. Wardaca is where my better half first started taking lessons. They have a lot of land including a big cross country course. In fact they do cross country schooling there. One of the Jr riders at my barn was going to be moving up to training level on Sunday and i went down to cheer her on and to take a few snaps. She was riding Brilliant Truth a sassy  red-headed mare who is known around the farm as Baby. The weather outside is frightful

Barn tales, Off Farm
Sunday is my regular day with my trainer, its the day she works with both horses, yanno providing the weather agrees. Today it did not. Everything was still, snowy, frozen and for a little added bonus we had off and on again freezing rain. Training was canceled, well try again mid week. Sunday is also the day my better half takes his riding lesson. They have an indoor so if the roads are clear class is on. The roads were clear. I like hanging out at his lessons, the last two sessions (they go on 10 week sessions) i met people i really liked and keep in touch with. One is using my trainer to work with her 11 year old daughter and the appendix she keeps at home. I…
